À Fleur de Fil
2025
The body exists at the threshold of its own undoing. À Fleur De Fil is about fragility, about the way we are all held together by the thinnest of threads, always on the verge of coming apart.
Yet there is beauty in this precariousness. The figure here is not tragic, but exquisitely vulnerable. This is what it means to be human, to be this breakable, this dependent on things we cannot control.
The gaze is both gentle and unflinching. It sees the thread, acknowledges how thin it is, and honors the fact that the figure remains whole despite this impossibility.
