The body opens itself to view, only to fade away. This is the paradox at the heart of Unfolding, a meditation on the fleeting nature of presence itself.

The figure emerges gradually from the density of thread, her form becoming clearer toward the center before dissolving again into abstraction at the edges. To look at her is to witness a kind of constant becoming, never fully fixed, never fully absent.

The lower body fades into the composition, as if the figure is slowly returning to the space from which she emerged. This dissolution is not sad. It is gentle, natural, inevitable. It speaks to the way all bodies move through time, never static, always in flux.

Unfolding asks a simple question: what does it mean to be seen, even briefly, before disappearing again? To hold form for just a moment before yielding to formlessness?

The gaze here is tenderness itself. To look at Unfolding is to participate in the act of witnessing something precious in its transience.
