The body is a language. Through my work, I explore what the body reveals about the inner life, the quiet moments when posture, gesture, and presence communicate what the face cannot express. My practice centers on a single question: what does it mean to truly see the female form, not as an object to be admired, but as a vessel of emotion, vulnerability, and truth? I am not interested in portraiture or representation of specific individuals. Instead, I focus on the gaze itself, the act of looking. Each figure emerges from this act of witnessing. The body becomes a subject of profound attention, a site where fragility and strength exist simultaneously. Every gesture matters. The tilt of a head, the curve of the spine, the positioning of hands, raised arms or withdrawn shoulders, these create narratives that transcend language. Through thread, I capture not the body as it is, but the body as it is perceived, felt, and experienced.

I am interested in specific moments, the body at rest, the body withdrawn, the body suspended between states. Not movement or action, but the poetry of stillness. What does vulnerability look like when it is held still? What does acceptance reveal? What can silence communicate? Each piece explores a different aspect of the female presence, each title a meditation on a state of being. The works together form a conversation about the body as a site of both concealment and exposure, strength and gentleness. All artworks are original, signed, and unique pieces. I work slowly, producing only a limited number of pieces each year. This practice honors both the time required and the intention behind each work.
