Presence
2026
This is what happens when the body simply is. Not moving, not performing, not seeking approval. The figure stands in her own ground, fully inhabiting her form.
The gaze that creates Presence is one of acceptance. The body is neither idealized nor diminished. It exists exactly as it is, solid and real, occupying space without apology. The tilted head suggests not submission but attentiveness, a listening quality, as though the figure is tuned to something the viewer cannot quite hear.
What we see is presence without vanity. Strength without aggression. Vulnerability without shame. The body as a site of quiet authority.
To look at Presence is to be invited into a moment of genuine seeing, where the figure's stillness becomes contagious. The viewer, too, is invited to simply exist, to stop projecting or interpreting, and to witness what is.
